Dia Sabin
Dia Sabin is a high school Spanish teacher and the new Color Guard Director at Jackson County High School. As a proud Jackson County alumna, she is excited to return to her alma mater and contribute to the continued growth of the color guard program. Ms. Sabin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Master of Education in World Language Education from the University of Georgia. During her time at UGA, she spun with the UGA Flagline for one season and the UGA Winterguard for two seasons. She then joined Georgia Winterguard, where she earned a gold medal at the WGI World Championships while competing in Open Class. She continued her performance career with Georgia Winterguard for two additional seasons as the team competed in World Class. Prior to joining Jackson County High School, Ms. Sabin served as a color guard instructor at North Hall High School. She is passionate about developing confident performers and creating meaningful color guard experiences for students. Ms. Sabin is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for the activity.
