Beth Pitman
Beth is a four-time graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned degrees in Journalism, English, English Education, and Instructional Technology. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Georgia in Instructional Technology. She marched with the UGA Redcoat Band as a member of the Flagline, and has coached numerous high school auxiliary units throughout the state of Georgia. She brings over 20 years of color guard experience in performance, choreography, and directorship. Beyond her love of UGA football and color guard, she enjoys spending time with her children William, 13, and Emma, 12, and her husband of 14 years, Scott. She also enjoys supporting her daughter, Emma, as she competes in national-level pageantry. Emma has held numerous local, state, and national pageant titles. Beth currently teaches high school English at Jackson County Comprehensive High School.
